Be as Peace

In the quiet of silence, we sit and welcome all that arises.
Through the iRest approach, a sense of safety emerges. We feel seen, heard, and connected with ourselves.

In this openness, we recognise the peaceful space that has always been within — our true essence.
Rather than striving to be at peace, we are invited to be as peace: resting in our natural Being, where peace is already present.

Will you join us in this simple resting, as peace itself?

This is an iRest Institute Retreat and qualifies for iRest Certification.

Dates and Location

  • Dates: November 26 – 30 2025
  • Location: Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center, Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia
  • Format: In-person, Residential Retreat

About The Retreat

Be as Peace is a nourishing five-day in-person silent retreat at the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center. It invites you to step away from the busyness of daily life and rest into Being—where peace is not something to achieve, but to simply be.

Through iRest Yoga Nidra, gentle movement meditations (BodySensing and BreathSensing), and time for self-reflection and inquiry, you’ll be supported to welcome yourself just as you are. In this openness, the peaceful essence that has always been within you—your true nature—naturally reveals itself.

Whether you are new to meditation or an experienced practitioner, you’ll receive practical tools to embody peace and bring compassion and resilience into everyday life. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center, silence and community create a nurturing environment to deepen your practice, restore your energy, and reconnect with Being.

Retreat Benefits

This Be as Peace retreat offers a transformative and nourishing experience designed to help you:

  • Rest as Your True Nature
Through iRest Yoga Nidra, movement meditations, guided and silent sitting, and self-inquiry, explore the peaceful essence that has always been present within you.
  • Be as Peace, Not Strive to Be at Peace
Instead of efforting to find peace, learn to rest in Being just as you are. From here, compassion, resilience, and ease naturally unfold in daily life.
  • Rest, Heal, and Renew
In the tranquil environment of the Meditation Center, the nourishing practices of iRest invite deep rest, stress release, and inner healing. Stepping away from daily responsibilities allows you to reset and rediscover your natural calm.
  • Develop Embodiment Practices
Gentle BodySensing and BreathSensing support you in listening and responding to your body’s natural rhythms, fostering embodied awareness.
  • Share in Community (Sangha)
Engage in heartfelt dialogue and reflective sharing within a supportive group, deepening your practice through connection with others.
  • Integrate Peace into Daily Life
Alongside time to simply “do nothing,” you’ll leave with practical tools to bring Being—and peace itself—into everyday routines, even amidst life’s challenges.
